Overview

Apogee Engineering is supporting Duotech Services, LLC (DSL), by helping identify and engage qualified candidates for this opportunity.

Duotech Services, LLC (DSL) is a technology provider to the U.S. DoD since 1982, specializing in the repair and sustainment of Mil/Aero platform electronics subsystems and the design and production of cost-effective RADAR systems and Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Having completed repairs or upgrades for over 12,000 unique NSNs for 40+ U.S. Military allied countries around the world, DSL is a uniquely capable engineering services firm actively supporting the global sustainment of mission-critical warfighting capabilities.

Duotech Services, LLC (DSL) is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead the technical execution of engineering projects involving rugged military‑grade embedded computing systems and automated test equipment (ATE). This mid‑senior level role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of leadership, system‑level engineering, and hands‑on technical problem solving. You will serve as the primary technical lead for project teams, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, coordinating cross‑disciplinary engineering activities, and driving projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team’s technical activities across electrical, mechanical, software, test, and systems engineering disciplines.
  • Translate customer requirements, objectives, and constraints into actionable engineering plans and system‑level approaches.
  • Oversee system architecture development, subsystem integration, and technical decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure engineering design efforts meet functional, environmental, and performance requirements for ruggedized military‑grade electronics and embedded systems.
  • Coordinate and guide reverse‑engineering, sustainment, and modernization activities for legacy systems.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface with customers, stakeholders, and internal leadership.
  • Monitor technical progress, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies to maintain project alignment with scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Lead engineering reviews, technical documentation development, and configuration management efforts.
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance engineering environment focused on innovation, quality, and mission readiness.
