Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Tools & Techniques Architecture Exploration Lead / Market ResearcherThis position will lead technology scouting and market research to identify emerging capabilities and translate mission challenges into structured problem statements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technology scouting and market research in AI/ML, microelectronics, and digital forensics.
  • Perform discovery interviews and translate challenges into Mission Model Canvases and Opportunity Documents.
  • Facilitate industry engagements, assess technical proposals, and evaluate partner alignment with mission priorities.
  • Provide analytical and advisory support to assist the Government in prioritizing T2 initiatives and sourcing an adequate quantity of Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) problems to feed the innovation pipeline
  • Support problem refinement through discovery interviews, assist in the creation of Mission Model Canvases (MMCs), Opportunity Documents, and problem rubrics, and validate problem needs, requirements, and impact metrics
  • Conduct market research in academic and commercial sectors to identify potential solution providers
  • Conduct Partner Alignment Assessments to review technical alignment and assist the Government in facilitating Partner Validation, providing recommendations to allocate resources effectively
  • Assist the Government with engagement with vendors on project proposals ensuring alignment with user needs, and maintain project management artifacts including quad charts, biweekly meetings, project logs
  • Act as the primary point of contact and Virtual Team Session Lead for scheduling and facilitating industry engagements, discovery calls, and vendor exploration sessions

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: TS/SCI
Education/Years of Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in science or engineering.
  • 8 years experience with DoW or similar programs.
  • Strong analytic and communication skills.
  • Experience with innovation pipelines or technology scouting programs.
  • Background in AI/ML, microelectronics, or digital forensics.
