Overview

Apogee has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Specialist in Support of the United States Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC), Military Communications (MilComm), and Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT) Directorate. As an Acquisition Analyst in the Delta/Division Action Group (DAG), you will provide a broad range of acquisition capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, operation, and maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities

 

****Contingent Upon Contract Award and will be located at Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA****

Responsibilities

  • Analyze various phases of the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process as it applies to the administration and management of all programs within the Directorate and provide the Government recommendations.
  • The Contractor shall maintain processes for accurately and thoroughly responding to planning, programming, budgeting, and execution management activities in accordance with official directives, regulations, and guidance.
  • The Contractor shall provide subject matter expertise for Government budgets, foreign military sales funding, other foreign Government funding, and international partner agreements.
  • The Contractor shall perform research, conduct reviews, and provide assessments.
  • The Contractor shall support the development of the Program Objective Memorandum, Staffer Day preparations, Spring Program Reviews, Investment Budget Review, Program Management Reviews, Mid-year Execution Reviews, Baseline Execution Reviews, Vice-Commander’s Forum, Financial Management Reviews, Acquisition Mission Support, Business Management Reviews, and other budget execution activities.
  • The Contractor shall provide detailed, quantifiable documentation and thorough justification for assessment findings, corrective action plans, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.

Education: High School Diploma

Years of Experience: Minimum of 15 years experience to include:

  • Experience with the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of acquisition programs
  • Experience creating and managing budgets, foreign military sales funding, other foreign Government funding, and international partner agreements
  • Experience with the development of the Program Objective Memorandum, Staffer Day preparations, Spring Program Reviews, Investment Budget Review, Program Management Reviews, Mid-year Execution Reviews, Baseline Execution Reviews, Vice-Commander’s Forum, Financial Management Reviews, Acquisition Mission Support, Business Management Reviews, and other budget execution activities.

Preferred Experience:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in acquisition program/project management

Pay Range

USD $133,936.00 - USD $173,329.00 /Yr.
