Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Acquisition Logistics Manager to support the Global Hawk & U-2 (WIA) division. In this position, you will provide a wide range of acquisition Logistics (Lifecycle Logistics), and analytical, technical, and program support services that directly impact current and future capabilities ensuring warfighter superiority.

 

EPASS Program: (Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services) supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s ISR & SOF Directorate in equipping our warfighters with advanced intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and special operations capabilities. This program provides critical advisory and assistance services to manage the full lifecycle of fixed wing, rotary wing, and high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft. Candidates will help deliver responsive acquisition, sustainment, and modernization support for Air Force and allied missions worldwide.

 

This is a full-time position located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to logisticians in evaluating multiple life cycle support alternatives and developing both pre- and post-award logistics documentation
  • Identify and define specific supportability requirements for support equipment and training devices throughout the system life cycle
  • Review and assess Supportability Analysis (SA) studies and plans, offering actionable recommendations for improvements or follow-on efforts
  • Evaluate the structure, completeness, and data quality of the logistics support database to ensure accurate, usable information
  • Access, consolidate, and analyze engineering and logistics data to clearly identify detailed logistics support requirements
  • Monitor and track Supportability Analysis (SA) progress to ensure milestones and deliverables remain on schedule and align with program goals
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on Subcontractor and supplier deliverable data products and summaries related to weapons systems
  • Assist logisticians with processes, procedures, and techniques needed to perform detailed operating and support cost analyses or to develop accurate cost estimates
  • Conduct analyses, draft reports, and recommend actions that support the organized arrangement of all levels of maintenance support, including partnering and contractor support when required
  • Integrate supply support analyses, generate reports, and recommend solutions to support logisticians in managing acquisition, cataloging, storage, and disposal of secondary items
  • Perform technical data management analyses, write reports, and recommend actions to ensure efficient, timely acquisition of recorded information necessary for engineering and logistics decisions
  • Integrate Training and Training Support (TTS) analyses, develop actionable reports, and help logisticians manage training processes, techniques, and equipment for system operators and maintainers
  • Address additional logistics considerations such as survivability, vulnerability, hazardous material management, standardization, energy management, corrosion prevention, nondestructive inspection, and transportability

 

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: Must posses and maintain a Secret clearance 

Education: High School Diploma 
Years of Experience: Minimum 15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations: 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the full acquisition logistics lifecycle
  • Experience supporting logistics studies, resource requirements including manpower, spares, cost, readiness assessments, cost analysis/trade
  • Experience updating plans, schedules, performance parameters, and cost estimates

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations. 
  • OR, bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
