Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Part-Time Project Assistant III to serve as back up to a customer facing Program Manager on a flexible basis.

 

This position will be remote and offer up to 4 hours a week of on the job training as a pseudo-Deputy Program Manager with up to 40 hours on an intermittent basis when the Program Manager is on leave. 

Responsibilities

  • Provides onsite administrative support and coordination during all phases of project life cycles.
  • Will support the AFRL customer and be client facing working to resolve customer issues.
  • Coordinates security processing of employees on contract and during onboarding.
  • Manages program financials coordinating between finance, contracting and the government COR.
  • Under the direction of the Program Manager, helps move projects towards completion by performing project and office administration tasks.
  • Administrative duties to include arranging calendars, scheduling meetings, file management, data collection, report creation, proofreading, research, developing and maintaining project deliverables, and team collaboration.
  • Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
  • Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral.
  • Receives, screens, logs and routes correspondence, attaches necessary background information and maintains follow-up system for action and deadlines.
  • Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top-Secret clearance
Education: Bachelors Degree
Years of Experience: 2 years relevant experience

  • Under the direction of the program/project managers or the client, helps move projects toward completion by performing project and office administration tasks, which typically include arranging calendar, scheduling meetings, production and distribution of collateral, file management, data collection, report creation, proofreading, research, developing and maintaining project deliverables, and team collaboration.

Pay Range

USD $23.67 - USD $38.29 /Yr.
