Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Database Application Programmer in support of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center Combatant Command, Command and Control (C2) Division (AFNWC/NCC).

This is a full-time position located at Offutt AFB, NE

• Advise and support work that involves the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software 
• Develop database applications for Division requirements
• Analyzing and refining systems requirements
• Translating systems requirements into applications prototypes and final products
• Planning and designing systems architecture
• Determining and designing applications architecture
• Determining output media/formats
• Designing user interfaces
• Working with customers to test applications
• Assuring software and systems quality and functionality
• Integrating hardware and software components
• Writing and maintaining program documentation
• Evaluating new applications software technologies; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services 
• Application development and sustainment/support

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
Education: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: Minimum of 15 years relevant experience to include:

• 5 years supporting the DoD
• Strong knowledge of and experience supporting architectural analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing database applications, preferably in support of DoD requirements 

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Security+ or Sec + CE
Education: Bachelor's degree
Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with 3 years supporting the DoD
